What is Laparoscopy?

How is the Procedure Performed?
- The procedure is performed under general anesthesia.

- The abdomen is inflated with carbon dioxide gas for better visibility.
- Additional small incisions may be made for inserting surgical instruments if treatment is needed.
- The surgeon visualizes the pelvic organs (uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes) on a monitor and performs precise interventions.
- The incisions are then closed with fine sutures, leaving almost no visible scars.
Most laparoscopic procedures are completed within 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the complexity.
